My Favourites plugin for Selenium IDE is a plugin to allow you to mark test suites as favourites and open or execute them with a single click.
This user guide is for version 2.0 of the Favorites plugin.
Once the plugin is installed successfully, you will find a new Favorites menu and a toolbar button.
You can make a test suite a favorite by clicking on the favorite toolbar button. You need to save the test suite first. Once a test suite is marked as favorite, the toolbar icon will change color.
You can also make a test suite as favorite from the Favorite menu by clicking on it and selecting the Add favorite menu item.
All favorite test suites will be available in the Favorite menu or the drop down menu on the Favorite toolbar button.
Once a test suite has been marked as favorite, you can open it by clicking on the menu item under the Favorite menu or selecting it from the Favorite toolbar drop down menu.
To open and execute a favorite test suite, hold the control key when you click on it if you are in windows or if you are using Mac OSX, hold the command key when you click on the menu item from the Favorite toolbar drop down menu. This does not work from the Favorite menu under Mac OSX.
To remove a test suite as favorite, simply open the test suite and click the Favorite toolbar button or click Remove favorite menu item from the Favorite menu.
In case a favorite test suite has moved location or deleted, click on the test suite menu item from the Favorite menu. You will be prompted to remove the test suite as favorite. Once removed, if you have moved the test suite, you can open the test suite and mark it as favorite again.
To remove all favorite test suites, click the Clear all menu item from the Favorite menu or the Favorite toolbar drop down menu. There will be a confirmation prompt to prevent accidental removal of all suites.
If you open any test suite, the Favorite toolbar button will change color to indicate if the test suite is favorite or not.
